Big Bounce Canada Vancouver: The Giant Inflatable Playground You Can’t Miss

Last Updated on September 29, 2025

Update: The event lasted just one day on Saturday, August 23, before being shut down, with Big Bounce Canada operators blaming Technical Safety BC for the premature closure. A media release stated that the safety authority’s “unnecessary and unrealistic demands made the event unviable for the rest of our scheduled stop in Vancouver, and we subsequently took the difficult decision to cancel. All affected ticket holders will be refunded to their original method of payment. Please note that refunds can take up to 10 business days to process.”

If you’ve been driving past Concord Pacific and spotted giant, rainbow-colored inflatables towering over the Vancouver skyline, you’ve likely seen the magic that is Big Bounce Canada. This touring inflatable park—also known as the world’s largest bounce house experience—landed in Vancouver at Concord Pacific Place from August 23 to August 31, 2025  and we couldn’t wait to check it out.

Spoiler alert: It was one of the most fun (and unexpectedly exhausting) family outings we’ve had in a long time.

First Impressions

From the moment we pulled up to Concord Pacific, the kids could hardly contain themselves. You could spot the bounce houses from blocks away—enormous slides, oversized obstacle courses, and colorful shapes rising above the event grounds. It looked like a cross between a carnival and a dream playground, and honestly, I was just as excited as the kids.

Check-in was quick and easy. Staff handed us wristbands for our time slot, and the energy was contagious. Kids were bouncing on their toes before they even got inside, parents were snapping photos, and music was pumping from the speakers. The atmosphere felt playful right from the start.

And then we stepped inside.

The World’s Biggest Bounce House

The main attraction—and the one that made our kids’ jaws drop—is the World’s Biggest Bounce House. It’s not just a nickname—this inflatable holds the official Guinness World Record for size, covering a mind-blowing 24,000 square feet.

It’s hard to even describe the scale until you’re inside it. Everywhere you turn there’s something new to climb, bounce on, or slide down. There are ball pits, basketball hoops, inflatable animals, and even a DJ up on stage leading games and blasting family-friendly music. It felt like stepping into another world—a high-energy mix of playground, nightclub (but for kids), and workout class. The DJ kept things interactive, calling kids up for dance-offs, tossing out inflatable balls, and hyping up the crowd. Kids and parents alike were bouncing, laughing, and tumbling into each other in the most joyful chaos.

My kids raced straight to the climbing towers and slides. Within five minutes, any caution went out the window and I was right there with them—climbing, bouncing, and laughing so hard I had to stop and catch my breath.

More Than Just One Bounce House

While the giant bounce house is the headliner, Big Bounce Canada also offers several other inflatable zones to suit different ages and interests:

  • The Giant: A massive inflatable obstacle course that stretches nearly 900 feet, packed with climbing walls, tunnels, slides—it feels like being on a game show.

  • AirSPACE: A space-themed inflatable with slides, moon craters, and giant aliens. This was a hit with younger kids and fans of imaginative play.

  • Sport Slam: An inflatable sports arena featuring dodgeball, basketball, soccer, climbing walls, and a “battle zone” that’s perfect for playful competition.

  • City Xscape: An intergalactic metropolis where skyscrapers reach for the clouds and friendly aliens zip around every corner.

Each zone had staff overseeing the area, making sure the flow of bouncers stayed safe and manageable—which gave me peace of mind while still letting the kids run wild.

Parent-to-Parent Notes

Big Bounce Canada is a blast, but it’s also a workout—for both kids and parents. A few helpful tips:

  • Wear socks—you need them to bounce, and they’re more comfortable than bare feet (Socks are available for purchase on-site if you forget).

  • Dress light—you will sweat. Even if you plan to mostly watch, the kids will pull you in, and soon enough you’ll be climbing slides and crawling through tunnels.

  • Hydrate—bring water bottles. There are food trucks and concessions, but you’ll likely forget how thirsty you get while bouncing. Opening day was a HOT one, and keeping hydrated was SO important.

  • Book early—tickets sell in timed slots (usually three hours), and popular sessions can sell out quickly.

  • Join in—don’t just sit on the sidelines. The kids loved having us bounce with them, and it turned into one of the most memorable bonding activities we’ve ever done. Eveyone bouncing needs a ticket and wristband. However, if you’re just there to watch valueables and chill on the sidelines, you do not need a ticket.

The Experience Through the Kids’ Eyes

From the moment we left, all I heard was, “That was the BEST day ever!” My youngest one was all about the slides—going down dozens of times, shrieking with laughter. My oldest ones challenged me to a head-to-head race on the obstacle course—and yes, they won when I massively bailed.

But more than specific activities, it was the freedom to run, play, and be silly in such a vibrant, expansive space that made it so memorable. Sometimes kids just need a chance to play big—and Big Bounce Canada gave exactly that.

The Parent Perspective

You may think that you will mainly stand and watch. But once inside, it’s impossible not to join in. It reminded me that play doesn’t stop with adulthood. Climbing, sliding, and bouncing alongside my kids brought out a playful side I love to tap into. I saw many other parents doing the same—laughing, racing, dancing. Was I sore the next day? Absolutely. Was it worth it? 100%.

Big Bounce Canada at Concord Pacific was easily one of the highlights of our summer. It fused pure childhood joy with a family-friendly atmosphere that invited everyone—kids and parents—to let loose and play. We left sweaty, tired, and beaming. The kids are already asking when it’s back, and honestly, so am I.

It’s rare to find an event that checks so many boxes: fun for every age, actively memorable, unique—and world-record worthy. It is making it’s way around North America, and if The Big Bounce comes to a town near you, it’s absolutely worth going. You’ll bounce your way home with memories that stick—in the best way.
