Cultus Lake: The Jewel Of The Fraser Valley

Last Updated on October 14, 2020

Cultus Lake Provincial Park is located near the small community of Cultus Lake, just an hour and a half drive away from Vancouver. Cultus Lake is a large, warm freshwater lake surrounded by scenic forest-clad mountains. It is known as the jewel of the Fraser Valley thanks to the breathtaking beauty of the area and it is one of the primary summertime destinations in southern British Columbia. There is 640 acres of park, conservation areas, trails, camping, and beaches.

We have been having pretty beautiful spring weather, and even though it is not summer quite yet, you can never have enough chill time at the lake while enjoying the scenery. Even if it does not feel hot enough to go for a dip yet, this weekend we were still surrounded by plenty of people taking in the beautiful sun while relaxing on a towel and in a bikini. It sure felt like it could have been summer already!

We are so blessed to be surrounded by such stunning scenery in beautiful British Columbia!
