Photo Essay: Disney’s Paint The Night Parade Is As Sensational As You’ve Heard

To celebrate 60 years, Disneyland has brought the most spectacular parade we’ve ever seen at Disneyland. Instead of the typical daytime parade, this is a nighttime electrical spectacular of glowing, spinning and gliding floats that feature all your favourite Disney characters. There’s over one million lights, creating a vibrant, mesmerizing parade that is sure to be one that we will never forget.

The Paint the Night Parade’s underlying song is from Wreck it Ralph and is performed by Owl City. We were left humming “when can we do this again” for days afterwards. It is such a fun song and even though it has only been released for a few years, it already has so many great memories attached to it, and this parade only adds more.

A parade always ends with Mickey Mouse. This time, it was Fantasia Mickey. With all the electricity and magic in the parade, it sure was fitting!
