The perfect way to end a fun-filled day at Disney World is “Happily Ever After”. Cinderella’s Castle tells the story with more vibrant projections, lasers, lights, than any Disney show we have seen before it. More than 25 Disney films and characters are featured through the projections on Cinderella’s Castle, including recent favorites and the classics. The whole show is so good that we would go as far as recommending a trip to the Magic Kingdom just to see it. You could watch the show several times and notice parts you didn’t see before. How the film clips are perfectly placed and played on the castle is mesmerizing and mind-blowing impressive; Disney’s new projection technology makes a huge difference.
Some of our favorite moments were Ariel wishing to be “part of our world”, Rapunzel wanting freedom from her tower, Moana embarking on her adventure, Belle and the Beast finding love, and the show-stopping performance from the Genie.
In true Disney fashion, the only characters that did not get to live “Happily Ever After”, were the villains. It always ends with good triumphing over evil, and love will always conquer all. The 18-minute show will leave you inspired to continue to dream while Disney shows you how to give a proper kiss goodnight after a day of over-stimulation and the best kind of crazy.
We were also able to see the show from Main Street looking straight onto Cinderella’s Castle, as well as from a bridge in Tomorrowland. It’s always our favorite view to see the Castle shows straight on, but it was also a neat and non-crowded perspective to watch it from Tomorrowland. There are plenty of great spots to see the show, so get out there and find your favourite.
Each of us has a dream and, when we pursue it, we embark on a journey, only if we look inside and “unlock the magic within’.
