Post Falls is a city in Kootenai County, Idaho, between Coeur d’Alene and Spokane, Washington. In need of a leg stretch, as soon as we saw signage for Post Falls Park, we decided it would be a good stop to stretch our legs.
Falls Park is a 22-acre park that includes three covered shelters, accessible paved pathways, historical interpretive signs, picnic shelters, restrooms, a playground, and scenic views of the dam and gorge.
We loved the history that a walk around Falls Park could tell though its historical interpretive signs. It was interesting to find out what the happenings were in the early days.
Where did you get a history lesson when you least expected it during your travels?
