Cabo San Lucas is located in the state of Baja California Sur, at the very tip of the Mexican peninsula. Los Cabos includes the towns of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo and all that lies in between.

We took a trip to Cabo San Lucas for our Honeymoon and found that Cabo offered a variety of outdoor activities that will definitely satisfy those looking for fun in the sun.

Our highlights of Cabo San Lucas were:

"Divorce" Beach
“Divorce” Beach

#1: Lover’s Beach: A lot of the beachfront resorts do not offer beachfront swimming because of dangerous currents. A short boat ride away is Lovers Beach where swimming is more possible. Lover’s Beach can get quite crowded, but you can even get some more privacy on the Divorce Beach side, though swimming is not recommended off of Divorce Beach.

#2: El Arco at Land’s End is one of the most famous landmarks in Mexico. Sandwiched between Lover’s Beach and Divorce Beach, it is here that the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. Take a water taxi out to the beach, pack a lunch and hang out for the day. Sailing around El Arco leaves you amid stunning scenery and a very romantic setting.

#3: Booze Cruise: As the sun set over the Pacific Ocean, we were able to celebrate the end of another stunning day in Cabo. Included in our cruise was dinner and unlimited booze. There was plenty of dancing, games and just a good ol’ time.

#4: ATVing: ATV’S allow access to places where few people go. We rode through the wide open Baja, along many trails lined with crazy looking cactus’, and along the beach. The scenery was spectacular and the thrill of the ride kept the adrenaline pumping.

#5: Cabo Wabo: Located in the heart of the downtown area, Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina offers a decent restaurant and an excellent nightclub. It is a fun place to spend an evening, but things don’t get started until 10pm, so show up after then.

Experience the perfect mix of fabulous weather, outdoor activities and fun nightlife that make Cabo such a winning tourist destination. There really is something for everyone in this natural wonderland where the desert collides with the meeting of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez.
