Mount Rainier is breathtakingly beautiful with its vast expanses of pristine old-growth evergreen forests and stunning vistas. It is the fifth oldest national park in the United States and features wildlife, waterfalls, mountain lakes and magnificent rivers.
We were lucky to at least have one day where we had gorgeous views of Mount Rainier as the rest of our visit we found the mountain was shrouded in clouds.
Travel Tip: It gets a little cooler as you raise in elevation, so make sure you have an extra layer of clothing to put on if you start to feel chilly.
