A team from the USA left us all with a twinkle in our eyes after the final show of the Honda Celebration Of Light in Vancouver’s English Bay. Nearly 2,500 fireworks were set off to many of your favourite classic Disney tunes from The Little Mermaid, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, and more. An estimated 500,000 people showed up to witness the spectacle, one of the largest turnouts in the history of the event.
We were lucky to get to see the fireworks on the water, away from the large crowds. It was great to enjoy some family time as we watched the sunset and listened to the adorable, colourful fireworks commentary from our three-year-old, Madison, as the fireworks exploded in the sky. As it turned out, we didn’t have to go all the way to a Disney Park to feel some Disney Magic.
