Lewiston, Idaho traces its beginnings to the Lewis and Clark Expedition. In 1805, the famed explorer team came to the confluence of the Clearwater and Snake rivers, now the site of twin cities Lewiston, Idaho, and Clarkson, Washington.
Idaho is an adventure seeker’s paradise, with a ton of activities offered, as well as scenic views that will freeze time for a moment as you stare in awe.
When automobile traffic made steep old wagon roads obsolete, a remarkable new highway grade was built down the Lewiston Hill in 1917.
Driving past Lewiston Hill, we had a breath-taking moment when we saw how beautiful the views are.
