When you’re in New York, there are two main attractions to get a birds eye view of the city: The Empire State Building and The Rock. We decided to check out the view of the Empire State Building at night and the view from the Top Of The Rock during the day. Day and night aside, we preferred the Top Of The Rock. The views were stunning. The view of Central Park, Empire State Building and NYC skyline is amazing. We visited in the afternoon and there were no queues, and found the inside of the building to be well organized.
Once you reach the viewing decks, the first two levels have a low wall with large Glass screens which enable you to get great views and photographs. There are reasonable sized gaps between the screens to enable cameras to get clear shots.
Rockefeller Center is filled with boutiques, fine dining, and is home to the most famous ice rink and Christmas tree on earth.
