Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, is located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island off Canada’s Pacific Coast. Known as “The Garden City”, Victoria is great for outdoor activities, with plenty of parkland and attractions such as the 55-acre Butchart Gardens, that are full of gorgeous floral displays. Victoria is also very picturesque, with lovely Victorian architecture like that of Craigdarroch Castle. Check out the historic Empress Hotel and Parliament Buildings in Victoria’s Inner Harbour, or tour Canada’s oldest Chinatown. Or, learn about BC’s history at the Royal BC Museum. There are plenty of great historical sights to see to satisfy even the biggest history buff.
We absolutely love the beauty of Victoria’s Inner Harbour. We couldn’t help ourselves taking so many photos with the gorgeous and grand Parliament Buildings in the background.
