Tour Seattle by land and water on a WWII amphibious landing craft.

It was so eye catching as we saw a tour boat roll by while walking around Seattle, we knew we had to join in the fun.

The tour takes you throughout Seattle with historical information narrated during the trip. I know that description sounds boring, but add in a pirate Coast Guard-Certified maritime captain with “costume changes,” funky music and jokes that will QUACK you up (sorry, I had to) and you have a great entertaining time for adventurers of all ages. Our guide had many hat changes–all of which are silly and accompanied by an appropriate song. It was great to sing along and laugh so hard.

We were able to see all the major sites of Seattle, including the Seattle waterfront, Quest Field, Safeco Field, historical Pioneer Square, Pike Place Market and the downtown shopping district.

After rolling around the streets of Seattle, the tour “bus” enters the waters of Lake Union and a narrated mini cruise begins with a stunning view of the Seattle skyline.  We were also shown Gasworks Park and the Sleepless in Seattle floating home .

I can’t promise that your tour will be as hilarious and enjoyable as ours was with our great tour guide.  However, it will definitely be a different way of seeing the city through  jokes, music and fun narration.  The Captain was so entertaining that the 90 minutes of the tour did not seem long at all.

It really did feel like a party on wheels that floats.

Have you ever had the chance to Ride The Ducks? What did you think? If not, would you?
