Woodland Series Cabins

The Sandpiper Resort Woodland Series Cabins offer a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the serene forests surrounding the golf course. We stayed in “Oak”. This cozy cabin is the perfect getaway for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts as it seamlessly blends with its surroundings.

Our favorite way to wake up is to the tranquil sounds of nature, especially cherishing the moments of silence punctuated by the chirping of birds. The mornings here were magical!

Woodland Series Amenity Details

The Oak cabin at Sandpiper Resort offers a unique and luxurious experience surrounded by nature. With one bedroom and one bathroom, guests can relax in the comfort of their own woodland cabin. The highlight of the cabin is the deep soaking cedar tub on the spacious deck, providing a tranquil escape while listening to the soothing sounds of nature. Inside, guests can cozy up by the gas fireplace in the living room, complete with a Smart TV for entertainment. The living room boasted floor-to-ceiling windows, framing a large sliding glass door that opened onto the deck. The deep soaking cedar tub, as simple to operate as any bathtub, required only placing the stopper in the bottom and filling it from the wall tap.

The cabin offered a tranquil and serene environment, where gazing out over the stunning grounds and the river felt magical.

Guests can also enjoy a cup of coffee or tea before heading out to explore the surrounding forest. With its Scandinavian design, the Oak cabin offers a modern and stylish retreat for adults, with a maximum occupancy of two people. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a peaceful escape in nature, the Oak cabin at Sandpiper Resort is the perfect destination.

River’s Edge Clubhouse

The Woodland cabins are fully stocked with cooking essentials such as pots, pans, dishes, and utensils, enabling you to prepare meals if you choose. However, if you prefer not to cook, the River’s Edge Clubhouse is conveniently located a short stroll away from the cabins, and serves delectable meals.

We relish dining in the restaurant’s glass-enclosed section, that they open up when the weather cooperates. Here, over dinner, we delighted in the sunny view of the lush grounds stretching to the river. It was a beautiful setting to savor our meals, which were made with fresh, local ingredients. Even if you have to eat inside, it is still lovely.

Sandpiper Golf Course

If you’re an avid golf lover, you’ll be in paradise at Sandpiper Golf Course. This 18-hole course offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Open 364 days annually, this par 72 golf course stretches over 6,500 yards from the back tees, offering four different sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all skill levels.
