The only way to describe sleeping in this Dream Treehouse at Pezulu Tree House Game Lodge is just that; it felt like a dream. We only had time to spend one night there, but it was among one of the best highlights of our time in South Africa.
Where is Pezulu Tree House Game Lodge?
The Pezulu Tree House Game Lodge is a small lodge located in the Limpopo province of South Africa. Located only 40 minutes from Kruger National Park, Pezulu is the perfect experience to add to your Kruger Adventures.
The Dream Tree House
We had the whole Dream Tree House to ourselves and it felt luxurious.
A watering hole could be seen out front of the treehouse and we saw many animals cross over the land to go get a drink. The coolest part of the treehouse experience was having three giraffes hanging around the treehouse. In the evening, through the night, and early in the morning, we would wake to find the giraffes feeding off the trees surrounding us.
It was surreal.
The bed was on wheels and could be pulled out onto the balcony, giving us the opportunity to sleep under the amazing African sky that was lit up with stars as we had never seen before. It was gorgeous and we spent quite a bit of time staring up at the stars in awe.
Another cool feature was the outside washroom and shower and indoor jacuzzi. The weather was so perfect that it was not out of the question to shower outside and the view was amazing.
Is Parking Available At Pezulu Tree House Game Lodge?
Yes. We were able to park right in front of our treehouse.
Which Languages Are Spoken By The Staff At Pezulu Tree House Game Lodge?
Many languages are spoken by staff, including English and Afrikaans.
What Should You Bring?
To fully enjoy your experience, we would recommend that you bring the following: A camera and binoculars, mosquito repellent and bug spray, light neutral clothing, a warm sweater or jacket for game drives, sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, walking shoes, and a swimsuit.
The Dream Treehouse By Day
Our minds were blown when we arrived at the Dream treehouse. We thought that the daytime views were incredible and could not believe that the experience could get any better than this.
The Dream Treehouse By Night
We thought the views couldn’t get better than during the day; we were wrong. It was so dreamy and romantic as the sun set. The views were spectacular, and once the night sky was out in full force, it was hard to admit that we needed to actually get some sleep.
The Main Lodge
The best way we can describe the Tree House is that it was absolutely magical. The treehouses seemed so unreal. We would go back in a heartbeat. Next time, we will make sure to set aside more time to be able to spend a few nights there. The views are spectacular and you’ll find wildlife all around you; this is a must-visit for all nature lovers.
